@Fabius Bile WoW recently offered me a scroll of resurrection, with a free copy of cataclysm. Is it not successful? Free trials are common place in mmo's. It's not at all proof that the game is failing.
Stuff like this is just one of many reasons I went to SWTOR from LoTRO. It's really sad that a vip would have to pay for this, and one of the reason's I probably won't give turbine a dime in the near future.

Compared to DAOC, it falls sooooo short on both accounts. WAR's pve was terrible, I can't believe anyone liked it. It's pvp was fun, just not as good as DAOC.
I agree with your comment almost 100%, however, I don't understand how they nickel and dime'd you, if you are a lifer. I'm vip and don't have to buy anything I don't want. Not trying to pick a fight, just curious.
Seriously the best PvP experience of all time. I really hope another system like DAOC comes around, but seriously doubt it will. Sad, Happy Birthday DAOC. MID for life!
While i typically don't choose to follow same sex romance options i do think the option should be there. The more options the better imo. Not to mention that it increases some players immersion.
To each their own, but making mmo combat 1 shot 1 kill would be kind of silly. I mean why would anyone play a melee class in pvp, when you can range 1 shot everyone, not to mention, it would make pvp fights completely unsatisfying, at least IMO.
