@Eternity I am not justifying anything. I actually have an iPhone 3G that is two years old (looking to replace and am sort-of considering the EVO). If the EVO was on AT&T or Verizon I would probably get it, I just really don't see how it is leaps an bounds ahead of the incredible like some make it seem. I personally like the look of the Nexus One over the Incredible, the EVO and the Galaxy S but am still not sure what to buy (EVO is last on my list sadly because of Sprint's coverage even if I have 4G covering every direction for 50 miles).
Sorry if I seemed to be really downplaying the EVO, I don't doubt it is the best phone in the US for 2010 (that we know of). Still don't see anyone crying over the difference in features from the Incredible vs. the EVO.
@RockNStuff Never doubted it is better, just minimally at an overview. Just seems there are a lot of people bashing the Incredible as if it were a difference of night and day, which seems a little silly. Everyone should be happy for having great phones like these available, not bickering in every Incredible post that the EVO is better.
@Atkins Ahh, never really thought about that. I guess that would be a pro though Verizon will most likely have the Nexus One by the summer. Thanks for that consideration!
@Eternity The incredible has an 8mp camera and a big enough screen. Yeah HDMI out, wifi sharing (4G only I believe) and kickstand are cool but more novelty (wifi sharing more than novelty but still doesn't mean the EVO should be brgged about when talking about every Android phone on Engadget).
@Atkins I will be switching after the end of the contract so the contract itself isn't a problem for me. Switching to Verizon will probably just cost me a little more and I lose my beloved coverage in Europe for once a year trips across seas. Nothing I couldn't deal with if the Incredible is that much better than the Nexus One or Galaxy S.
@Atkins Not sure what you are asking? I can get a new phone and still keep my current price with discount. My contract ends in two months with the iPhone 3G and that is what one of the three phones will be replacing.
@RockNStuff Everyone is praising the EVO so much, but I don't see what makes it MUCH better than the Nexus One or the Incredible. Yeah 4G is nice but otherwise is it really worth so many people commenting about it in EVERY mobile phone news post?
@Atkins Does look pretty incredible. Not sure whether to get this or the Nexus One or wait for the Galaxy S. Been on AT&T and get GREAT service here plus I have 20% through them so it is hard to leave them for a phone. What does everyone think? Incredible(Verizon), Nexus One (AT&T) or Galaxy S (AT&T)?
@xbit Pretty much every HTC phone looks nicer than the iPhone. My iPhone doesn't look bad but I liked the look of my HTC Shadow better even if it was pretty old.
