PvP is rarely a fair(meaning evenly matched) fight. Ninety percent of open world PvP is a pure ganking. Game makers put PvP in as a way of increasing subscriptions. PvP doesn't fit my concept/definition of want an MMORPG is. There are plenty of first person shooters...go play em'.
Look, for me it's just about the evolution of gaming. Someone had an idea. They followed through on it and now they get to see how well it works. It's something new, it may work, it may not. I really don't see the harm in that. I like it when people take risks like this and try out new concepts.
Btw, is there some big prize for predicting the success or failure of a product?
