Fishing... fishing clothes...

Apart from my bank alt shaman (who rocks a full tuxedo and a mood ring), I tend to dress up my high-level toons in various sets of "out-of-duty clothing" to indicate their non-active status. My main (and most important alt) is always wearing his most relevant armor. For some reason it annoys me to see my "retired" toons in their armor, making me wonder why Id on't play them anymore. Using them for fishing (full fighing clothes) archaeology (lumberjack shirt and filt hat) and various other nohn-combat duties (wearing, of course, the most recent fashion in Azeroth) somehow gives peace and purpose to these abandoned characters. I don't know, i'm odd like that. If I wouldn't do it, I would feel compelled to delete them alltogether.

I have tested quite some games in the past. In the best cases, it surprised me and made me buy the retail version of it, in the case of Lotro and Pirates of the Burning Sea. Almost never have I've been dissappointed so much that a game went from "must buy" to "never talk about this again" (only once: STO). But I guess I like to beta test the more obscure, not-so-hyped games. To see what the new ideas are and how (and if) they work. I'm usually pretty invested in makign the game better by religiously noting and posting the various bugs and giving my two cents on possible improvements, and for a game that I know I'm gonna love and don't want to spoil, I'd rather let others do the dirty work and enjoy the game at retail (SWTOR).

On hiatus 'till the pre-launch events start, so everything feels fresh and new again.

LEGO and APB beta during their respective timeslots, finish up Tales of Monkey island part 5 and hopefully GoW 3 will be delivered today!
