I think one of the many fond moments for me was back in the early days. Like 2 months in. People were still learning the game and how it worked. There were no speeders at the time, you had to run and boost run everywhere. On my server, Chilastra, I decided to go work on Bounty Hunter (when I learned Smuggler couldn't actually smuggle anything.) Master Marksman was such a huge early hurdle. Low and behold people found the Tusken fort on Tatooine. All kinds of great action to be had. Sitting in other player's meager camps to heal, chatting, it was a great time.
This was absolutely epic fail going for PS3 exclusivity, total money grab. It's extremely disheartening especially after Sony got crushed by hackers that they would put their EVE enthusiast users at risk with exclusivity. They should have done multi-console support. It spreads risk. However, for those of us who choose not to support Sony PS3, we can't play this game. So any intention I had to play Dust is gone. I'll enjoy nuking them from orbit for sport until multi-console support or PC support is added.
Pathetic. As a huge BioWare fan I'm seriously let down with their space decision. 30+ year old gameplay model in a AAA 2011 MMO? It sounds like a joke, but it's not. I don't think the video quelled this fan's fears, it confirmed them. Space is lame, extremely lame. Put John Williams music and shiny graphics on it, but it doesn't change what it is, limiting, boring gameplay. Glad space is optional, as I'll be completely ignoring it while I see if the rest of the game is worth playing. Starting to lose hope they'll do anything ground breaking with the ground game too.
Single biggest disappointing piece of news about SWTOR yet. I had higher hopes for BioWare. If they can't go big, don't do it. BORING. Won't play the space component at all. Is this 1993 all over again? Fail.
