I can't see why "skins" would be needed. If they would simply allow the armor we are waering to morph into "kitty-form" armor, so we look a lil different, that would be easier technically and more fun, since it would change with what we wear. Armor already has to scale somewhat with a Tauren vs a Gnome, why not add the armor to a druid's forms in that way?

I think a reason for this notion to continue unabated might stem from the discovery of unlikely leadership qualities you find in yourself and others while playing the game. This can be fickle and misleading, since everyone believes they are automatically GM material, just because they've hit 70.

What interests me is the seemingly natural selection by other players that someone is or is not leadership material. This is generally worked out by a GM promoting players to officers based on a number of key factors that may not be so easy to explain beyond a general feeling that the person(s) is good, solid, stable, and will make a good leader. It is a survival-of-the-fittest type social system of control which tends to weed out the posers all by itself.

Sad to tick off all the haters, but I agree. PvE is where the real challenge is. PvP is fun for many people, but I just don't see quite the pull PvE has.

I think this issue is an either or kind of thing, you are either a huge PvE or PvP fan, or a fan of both and you prefer another.

I am saving up for my epic flight form (like a lot of people), and no it isn't easy, that's why only a few of the best on a server actually have it, because they flat out earned it themselves (or begged it off a rich uncle gnome). Lunch may be free, but this one is all you to come up with the cash. I'll be seeing ya, while you're puttering along on your flyer and I'm dive-bombing your sorry helm in my epic wings.
