The Daily Grind: What do you do when you're in a queue?
Nov 27th 2011 11:04AM (Massively)Lord of the Rings Online bringing in major stat changes
Jun 22nd 2011 11:06AM (Massively)The Daily Grind: How long does it take to review an MMORPG?
Jun 22nd 2011 8:22AM (Massively)Crafting would not take as long to review as would the leveling process. I think it would be best if there was a group that did the review process. Each person would have their own focus in the process. Then you take everyone's report and you compile a review.
You could then go back after a couple of updates have hit the servers and do another review.
The Road to Mordor: Digesting E3
Jun 10th 2011 3:44PM (Massively)I never wanted to have the pre-order options taken away. All I wanted to see was MORE options. As in: in addition to what is already available.
As far as make or break: I have this feeling in my mind that Isengard is a turning point. There seems to have been plenty of negative feedback on the huge grind game that has been introduced lately. The fact they are redesigning every class in the game tells me Turbine senses they have a huge opportunity with the expac.

The Road to Mordor: Digesting E3
Jun 10th 2011 11:01AM (Massively)1) I believe Turbine is recognizing Isengard as a make or break point for the game. People who have been around for years (like me) are waiting to see if the switch to F2P is gonna revitalize the content output like promised.
2) I do not want to see new systems when the old ones have been seemingly neglected. LIs have yet to fully realize their potential. Housing has been mostly neglected since release.
3) The Legendary pre order option is a tough pill for us lifers. We already own all the quest packs. I would like to have seen a pre order option geared towards lifers/VIPs in addition to what is there now.
The Daily Grind: Do MMOs play upon your real-world fears?
Apr 30th 2011 10:55AM (Massively)Because of immersion, I am picturing myself there. And when 'there' is standing in front of a big spider, that makes me cringe.
There is an area in LOTRO in Mirkwood: a spider cave. Turbine has a nasty habit of having spiders drop from the ceiling. And it never fails, I will have a spider drop on me right at the precise moment when it takes up 2/3 of my screen. Cringe.
