....ship spinning is overrated... as an alternative to slow capt quarters it's nice... but the spinning itself was not the issue.. it was the right click access on the ship.

While I suppose there are some who are truly addicted to a game.. I grow largely sceptical when folk make documentaries out of a non-drug item and call it addictive.

I spent 18 years raising a breding hamsters.. I was working on a genetics project and this was my hobby. I spent a large amount of time and money on the project... One day my friends, in what they called an "intervension", released 500 head of my hamsters into my garage, I'm sure they meant well - but they ruined 18 years of study with one stupid act..all in the name of "addiction control".

Be careful what you name addiction or addictive.

I would gladly forgo "new " abilities for abilities I could count of to not be glitchy and not change mid course... "balance" is often used as an excuse for massively changing things mid stream in reality it distrupts game play more than pop up ads For once I'd like to see a developer test the game completely and then stick to it's gums after release for skills and and abilities.

Like I said changes suck after I'm well into the game.

no I don't think eve could ever go free to play in a way that would capture the heart of it's players.

while they don't have to release the exact numbers to make me happy - if I have a choice of servers to create a character on I would like at least a general measure of server load and population.

no the fight doesn't have to be fair but I'll say this.. it's the fair fights or even the fights where I'm outnumbered that make me feel good after a win.

If you hold some players back from being able to compete at full power there are things you can't achieve in a game.. factional goals become meaningless to me.

probably will never happen,, I know if I were a gaming company I wouldn't do it.

I'm skipping 2012 too.. because it's the end of the world.

I actively look for games that don't ahve this feature for my kids.. I prefer not to have a game world confuse them more than they already are by the peanut gallery out there.

I don't care for any of them now.. in fact I barely know who any of the are. but back in my Guildwars days .. everyone loved Gaile Gray.
