Lineage 1 actually peaked at around 10 million world wide. The majority were in Korea, 100k were in the U.S., the rest scattered around Europe and China.
It was also one of the first few games that dedicated focus to compatibility with Mac.
I'm still on my first console like a few others have mentioned. I play my 360 a lot, but hearing all the stories about RROD I try to give the 360 a break every couple hours. I also make sure it sits in a well ventilated area.
That's not to say anyone who's had theirs die didn't do this. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
Well55, from what I've read it only has SecuROM on the DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION version which seems to likely be the version the releasers used to crack. The version you can buy in stores is supposed to Not have SecuROM on the actual discs.
If this proves true, then it pretty much proves your statement false. Regardless, all your spouting just seems like the typical excuse of someone who pirates for the sake of getting a game for free. Then, you go badmouthing EA (although not something I disagree with) in a self-serving fashion in order to justify that you didn't want to pay.
I personally have pirated EA's games namely Spore because of their DRM (evil!), but I was originally planning to buy it. I've also bought their a few of their other games (Sims and Sims 2 + exps). I haven't downloaded The Sims 3, and I currently don't plan to.
Anyone else notice that whenever GC used the word "interesting" it means that whatever he talks about is gonna become OP then nerfed to hell or just plain nerfed?
Gotta understand that they actually have a sports league for starcraft and warcraft 3 in Korea. Tournaments usually bring in like 120,000 people to watch and cheer these guys play against each other like what you'd see at a physical sporting event. They call it e-sports, and it's the second most popular sporting event after Soccer. Much bigger than in the U.S. unfortunately =[
spritethirstman pretty much hit the point I was getting at. Businesses will likely stop going through the steps to say they don't sell to minors in order to avoid the punishment which will likely lead to some form of regulation getting put in place by the government.

Nov 6th 2010 4:53AM (Joystiq)They DO have and allow singleplayer cheats. Only with ingame codes like in sc1 rather than 3rd party hacks.
You just can't get achievements for it.
