Guild Wars. My main, a monk, will be 5 years this March or April, I think (whenever the game first came out.) I played from closed beta until now. Although for the first 2 years I was on pretty much all the time (I became obsessed with Hall of Heroes), once my guild disbanded, I quit. I've played on and off for 3 years. Every mmo I play always ends sucking, and then I end up back in guild wars. I've just recently completed my Hall of Monuments and think I might be done until GW2. :)

If they want people to stay past level 10 or stick with the game in their trials, they should let us play something other than vanilla wow. With all their new expansions out, the starting areas in vanilla wow are completely dead. I've rolled over on several different servers trying to find more than 3 people, and it was extremely difficult. Everyone's playing expansions or in high level zones - they should let us try out the expansions and maybe interact with other people. This is the reason why I could never get past level 10 on my three different attempts at trials. I felt like I was playing a single-player. :/

If you're going to continually argue over how EVE is awesome because of risk of LOSING something.. then, learn how to spell 'lose' correctly. Why does everyone spell it as "loose"? :/

Norn. I loved them in GW, because they can turn into an Ursan. And I love snow. And I've played as a human forever. Charr are too dark and ugly. Sylvari are your typical elf-like class. Maybe play an Asura, but their voices have always bothered me.

Please don't tell me you actually believe that crap.. There's so much scientific proof that nothing's going to happen in 2012 - and little evidence for anything else.

I don't know why everyone assumes that once you buy gold, your account is hijacked. My husband buys gold for all the mmo's he's played and he's bought me some for games I usually quit 2 weeks later. Anyway, that's not the point, but never ONCE has our account been stolen. What's the point? If you buy their gold and everything's perfect - chances are you'll go back to them again and again. That's a continuous income, and much more profitable for them.
Of course, people are idiots and will go on sites that tell them to give them their info - but that's their own stupidity. Most gold farmers just trade you the gold in-game, so no way they can steal your account.
Also, most accept paypal - so they can't steal your credit card either.
People who say that happens are usually just try to scare others, just fyi.
