It also depends for me. I usually tend to play same gender at first and will usually pick one "Dude" I somehow relate to more to be my "main" and then I'll roll a female, but I have usually a hard time taking her seriously because a lot of games, when you want to make your female toon sexy. she ends up looking either sleezy, weak or both. The Major exceptions are super-hero Mmos where female wear almost nothing but there is nothing remotely sexual about it. They are hard as nails, even in spandex. Otherwise I sometimes feel odd and dare I say it, a bit perv tbh.

I'll answer your question with another. Is there a portal to Blackwing Descent? They put portals for CoT in Shatt and Dalaran because it was on another continent and so far in this expansion, the portals only lead to questing zones so you take those to go to TFW, BoT or Firelands ..and now Dragon Soul (Uldum, TH, Hyjal and Uldum again respectively)

Honestly, so few ppl actually uses their middle name that I don't really see the issue. The baby's usual name is Thomas and not Dovakhiin. Little Thomas will go to college on the back of his weird middle name, I think it's overall a fair trade. I would exchange my more than annoying student loan debt for a weird middle name tomorrow.

There are clickers in the top guilds in the world. Clicking is totally fine and barely noticeable for healers, ranged DPS and even tanks but melee will suffer. You just have to develop your playstyle around it, like keybinding. But clicking in top-end PvP is suicide and there's no denying that.

TL;DR -- Clicking= Fine as long as: you're doing pve on a ranged character and you know your limitations. Keybinding = Mandatory for competitive PvP.

I don't see why one would prefer Death grip over shadowstep (if you can't have both) PVE wise, unless you're tanking, DKs don't use DG (or very rarely, and usually on demand). Even in PvP, Grip of Shadow as you call it would be a total waste, why bring someone in FRONT of you in pvp when you can teleport in its back? Also, rogues being melee, the squishiest one at that (every class has defensive cooldown, it does not mean you should tank for 5 sec.. Why taunt something? Healers shouldn't be near you (if you feel like protecting one that has aggro) and Tanks should taunt, not rogues. Anyone who plays a tank knows that when someone tries to do your job, you get irritated, so please don't assume it's all fine. Furthermore, unless you're unholy, DKs run way slower than a rogue (even one stealthed) so DG is the only thing with Chains of Ice they have to close the gap. Rogues have theirs and don't need another one. If they do, give all DKs a stun or two and you'll soon regret having DG. Death grip on a rogue makes no sense at all to me. none. If Shadowstep had a talent like Double-time for warrior's charge, I could get "behind" that idea.

On a long fight, I always went SW:P, then at least 2 mind flays to get orbs but also to get 5 stacks of evangelism, then I burn Mind blast to get Empowered shadow and casts VP and MB. I also made 4 auras to go with my dot timer. one is 5 stacks of DE, one is ES, one for when I have at least one orb and the last is for mindblast off cd. when everything is just right, I have this really cool shadowy eye over my priest. neat.

My first toom was a warrior (a Tauren and Mulgore's music is forever reminescent of that era to me) as well, and like most, I was hilariously bad. Such as having skinning as a profession because it's all I could figure out (I was a leatherworker too, but I never found the button). He never made it past 15...and never left Mulgore either (what's the Barrens?) good times... I later made a bunch of other classes until I clicked with a mage. I now play all classes...except rogues, I never could play a rogue. I have a strong conscience, lol.
