There's more than one alliance out there bankrolled by wealthy individuals who use PLEX to fund in-game activities.

Whilst his words are reassuring, it's a shame that PLEX means that Eve is already on the road to P2W.

Most of the Eve community are not sociopaths, psychopaths or cyber-bullies. Most are well adjusted people who enjoy mining, trading, missioning and some good old-fashioned PvP.

However, in any population of several hundred thousand people you're bound to have a few bad eggs and Eve's sandbox nature (which is otherwise one of its greatest strengths) allows that sort of person to do their thing.

However, as any long-term player of Eve knows, it's still possible to play the game and have fun even with some not so nice players hanging around.

My point is don't judge the whole Eve community on the actions of a minority of players.

Before you can enforce RP, you need to define what RP actually is.

And I suspect that there are as many different definitions of RP as there RPers.

Unfortunately it only takes a small minority of players to buy worthless crap for it to be worthwhile for games companies to sell it.

I imagine that in 2032 CCP will be promising an overhaul to Faction Warfare in eighteen months.
