Totally true, Same thing happened when I bought Dawn of War 2 through Direct2Drive (which i have always loved) and It installed steam.

I had already been using steam, and I figure, since i need steam on my comp to run tf2 and dow2 I might as well check them as my retailer first.

Especially when the DL rates from steam (for me at least) Seem to be WAY faster.

P.S.

If I have to use a keyboard or mouse usb into my ps3 (which i wont ever want to own) or my 360 (which my gf and I use everyday whether gaming or not.) then it doesn't count.

Exactly, its about money.
Sony pays piles and piles of money for exclusivity, and Microsoft would have to match that to break that deal.

I'm sure square would LOVE to have the game on the 360, there are what? like 60,000 ps3 in the us and 10mil 360s?

xbox just doesn't need to drop the kind of cash for a game that it knows isn't the bread and butter genre for xbox live, (shooters, sports, and action)

But the day i can play an mmo properly with my console on my nice tv on my couch rather than in a chair at my desk. That company would have me for life.

Really, Ive said it before and I hope someone realizes that GW or GW2 would be perfect console mmos. Most Mmos you need access to like 20+ buttons, for GW u need 8 at a time.

Every time i play Tf2 on my pc with an xbox controller and i channel the medic's medigun, all i can think is why can't they do this in an mmo?

Yea, I had my eye on this game, Watched its pre launch demise very closely, played it despite knowing it was slowing sinking (anything to get outta azeroth), Really is sad how this game never got the chance to flourish it deserves, I hope everyone on the creative side wound up finding great jobs for themselves after doing such great work and being hit with such financial, publicity, and coporate upheaval.

If Female Soccer players were built like that im sure America would have many more soccer fans!

I think were missing the important factor of location.

If you poll american's only, that should be stated. but dont pretend there are more people playing DDO than GW when GW has a Huge foreign populace. EVE too, EVE has something like 330000 "active accounts" granted you can pay ur sub with in game currency, but still, its shown horribly here, because, a lot of foreign ppl play it.

That'd be like saying 75% of humans prefer basketball to soccer, but not mentioning that you didnt poll anyone over seas.
