The Daily Grind: Are you a critter-killer?

Sep 22nd 2011 8:13AM (Massively)
After fighting things that with big nasty teeth and standing up to the Ravenous Bug Blatter Beast of Trall. It's nice to see what your new spell does against a couple bugs.

I myself prefer to kill level 1 deer in games. This is to stop them from running out in front of cars in my fantasy games. I am providing a service this way

@Dumac There not looking at the full IP. They will be looking down through first two to three (my network training is failing me here for terminology) sets of numbers. This identifies your ISP and country. Which is what they are interested in.

So

192.168.1.15 (yes its a local address)
they would be looking at
192.168.X.X knowing your a Fodder ISP user from the US

Turbine upgrades LotRO's compromised account reimbursement policy

Feb 27th 2011 9:32AM (Massively)
My account was hacked on the 21st and I had heard the policy was just to get some gold back. I have 8 alts all loaded. I was surprised on the 24th when i got every item back except for my legendaries that werent equipped.

On the 23rd I was playing and my account got banned for suspicious activity. I had eight tickets open and no one seemed to have let those running the test know. But i called Turbine and they had it unbanned in less then an hour. Unlike Sony I was able to call Customer Service and get someone quickly.

The Daily Grind: What MMO would you like to see covered more?

Feb 27th 2011 9:26AM (Massively)
This may sound like an odd request. How about a follow up story on WWII Online which is about to face its 10th anniversary in June. Not many MMO's, in this case MMOFPS get to say that

Chrysler 200 Convertible photographer miffed at leak, goes on Facebook rant

See the context is this. The new Sebring borrows so much from its aging parent company and previous model that by sitting still it grew moss on the concrete. It was sitting there admiring the skyline in hopes that it would find its new owner who wouldnt mind that it was nothing more then some fresh plastic over a very tired body
