@Brianna Royce Glad to see it back. I'll be sure to send a few in once I get back into playing. Currently waiting on (NOT GW2!?!?!? OMG, HERESY!!!) TERA to release since I hate playing betas.
Why does joystiq have to use the "April Fools" tag... I know the internet isn't that smart, but come on... It ruins the fun if we know it's a joke right away.
On graphics: To me it's not about graphics, but the style. If a game has the generic shite 3d/crap texture/generic f2p balls graphics I am less likely to play it. If it has nice little sprites like wakfu, a beautiful scenescape like TERA, or even a cartoony stylized look like WoW or Allods I am more likely to play.
It's not about the graphics themselves, but how they are presented.
Am I the only one getting sick of all this coming from Mojang? They have told us about so many projects and released so much information, but they haven't really made any of it come to fruition yet. I know it hasn't been THAT long, but frankly I don't care what they say until they show us that they can release another game that isn't a generic indie piece of "art" (read: crap). Minecraft is alright, not GOTY for sure, but it was good fun. That's the only tangible product they have given us though...
