I am absolutely looking forward to create characters in STO. CO character creation is uber, so can't wait to see what they come up with in STO!

omg, I feel terrible. They did not have coverage on Massively.com so far according to search... Anyway, doesn't change my point... Other well known sites covered the game, there is no sign so far that they are out there to grab our monies.

Oh come on... Alganon might not be the most hyped and well known MMO, but they had their coverage on massively and many other sites as well. Why call a Community Manager / PR - Manager out for being a spamer for posting on what's going on? Yeah, sure... if this was one the games with a huge marketing departement all the sites would pay attention and report about it, but that's obviously not the case for Quest Online and Alganon. Give them a break.

From what I read it seems to be a unique setting for a MMO with lots of potential (no pun intended...). I definitely curious to see how it all plays out and you never know, it might actually the MMO worlds surprise hit for 2009, right?

Gotta love all these fake comments... :-) I don't say it's not fake, it's just that Vollee actually might be able to pull something like that off with their technology, as far as I know: They basically have a client that connects you to their network, the game is not running on the iphone... everything you see is streamed to you. So your iPhone is only displaying "pictures", like you'd watch a video or something in that direction. That's my understanding at least. Unfortunately, the Vollee site is not reachable at the moment. ;-(

I think you could say exactly that about basically every other development studio featured on here... The news bits are mostly positive (rarely critical) for basically every company. You may like it or not, a lot of people are excited about Free Realms at the moment, hence the news about it. Or what exactly are you complaining about?

It's way too much EVE for me on here, but you won't see me complaining about it. ;-)

The following information has been released in articles, interviews and videos... I can't provide specific sources, but I am sure you can find most of it by looking at recent videos on youtube and articles.

Free Realms will be free 2 play with a (optional) monthly subscription of 4,99 USD. Additionally, you'll be able to "buy stuff" for your character and pets (microtransactions... based on Station Cash, I'd guess...)

In-game advertising has also been mentioned. Not with simple banners, but with a 3d model and a cup of coffee floating over a coffee store (for Starbucks, as an example... I think this was in an article from IGN).
