No what your saying makes sense. Lets let people get experience in a part of the industry that got you to work for free and laid off people who were doing the secure and stable volunteer job you were doing. Here is a better way to get into the gaming industry... crack open a book on coding. Either become self taught or go to school for it. I am sure that is more helpful then working for free in a postion they used to have to pay people for. Also WoD didnt take the biggest hit. The biggest hit was to actual EVE online commnity workers.

Eves learning curve is just a horrible idea. The game should hold your hand at early to mid levels and end game should be when shit gets real. The VAST majority of people who try Eve dont stick with it because being lost in space or taking ten minues to realize how to leave the space station is not fun. LOL and anyone can fanboy all they want about the game should remain difficult at all stages and to that I will say have fun floating around in space by yourself.

No you need to grow up and open your eyes lol. You act like these game companies are saints who are all doing us a favor etc etc. Do you know why half of these Free to Play games exist? Because there companies were going bankrupt. If I dont play there game I still have my job I go to and other games I can play or spend money on. Go ask CCP what its like to lose players and to watch your compaines growth come to a screeching halt or go ask Cryptic what it feels like having to have all your games go free to play and being bought out because your greedy buisness model is failing.. I mean CCP just had to lay off 20% of there work force. Why? Because they didnt listen to these so called "entiltled" players you are talking about. Greed vs Good buisness. One is short term and one is long term. Finding that balance while talking about discussions of restrictions in game play is what this whole article/conversation is about.

Also wtf are you talking about someone wanting to play a Batman, spiderman etc game for free? I never said that and you misquoted me. Correct your statement please. I was very clear in saying that a predtermined powerset character that we are emotionally unattached to is not the way to go and if I wanted to play a predtermined powerset then I would want it to be with a mainstream hero and since thats not the case with the Champions IP then they should allow us full range to their powersets. When they make the choice pay or no powers for you. Then I choose no powers, because I can go play another game for free where I do get to pick the powers or abilities I want for free. I can get hooked into that other game cause they entice me the customer with better deals.

Would you rather have a cellphone service with free roaming, long distance, gps or Another service that doesnt have any of those features but charges the same price or more?? Thats whats going on in the world of F2P. Its called Capitalism, competition, and choice. Thats how the free market works. This isnt some 3rd world country where have to stand in line for a loaf of bread and praise our dear leader for making this f2p game.

From your statements it seems like you miss the big picture and would fit right in with those buisness CEOs who sink their companies because of bullheaded arrogance and greed. Greed vs Good Buisness. They are two diffrent things.
