Oh, another Bioware video that does not allow for zooming without becoming pixelated (even worse at full screen). I guess despite their multi-million dollar projects, people still have to settle for crappy quality, because the internet tubes are so precious.
Did something change to STO or am I en error perhaps; I thought that STO had oversized playgrounds/bridges. The room seen in the image here looks fairly realisticly sized.
Surely the Star Wars prequel IP is something entirely different than the classical Star Wars IP, or do Bioware own IP rights for anything to do with the IP of the original triology movies?
I am reading that the crafting system consists of "components + effects".
I imagine that people would simply grind to get the best item, and if so this leaves me wondering if this is all just juggling with numbers, instead of a weapon also having characteristics that affect the user negatively.
For example: the best longsword with lots of bonuses should end up being heavier and pretty much unusable by weak characters.
Perhaps the size of a weapon will change with component upgrade, making it unwieldable for short characters.
I have not played SWTOR, but I think that Instead of removing the superflous stages that people has to arrive to in order to get to their destination, the devs should consider adding features and options that allows a player to fast travel to any point inbetween with a purpose. Meaning that there would then be something particulary meaningful to do for the player at each location.
