All realities...all dimensions...are opened to me.
One of the best raids ever designed by Blizzard in this game. It's not just rose tinted goggles either. This one had it all: memorable boss fights, awesome atmosphere and music, sweet purplez.
I'd like something similar to the old Warcraft 3 starting screen. Something like an abandoned battlefield, at the base of a volcano. The sky is dark and ominous and there are fiery boulders streaking across it.
It sounds very thrilling, but there is just one teensy-tiny problem.
They want to give story and depth to poopsockers. Rate me down all you want, but you know it's true. The MMO crowd has a huge attention deficit problem. These are the types of people who are willing to grind the same shitty dungeon 20 times for a pair of boots. They get confused and angry if you offer them anything beyond "kill 10 rats". They don't want story and depth, they want their carrot on a stick.
I predict that this will be a niche game. It will do fairly well with it's own crowd (do kids even like Star Wars these days? I know I find it irrelevant.), but I'm not seeing it going gold.
This reminds me, where the hell is Saurfang? Didn't he say he'd kill Garrosh with his bare hands if shit got real? Well Garosh killed Cairne (albeit with a little help from Magatha). Shit's pretty darn real now, mon.
I was really charmed by this game when I first played it. Loved the Empire and it's steampunk soviet theme. But the fact that I need to use the cash shop for important gameplay elements (like respeccing and now this damage nerf) has really put me off. I uninstalled it. It's a shame, this game had a lot of potential.
I don't use the forums and never will, but it's a matter of principle I don't want some gay little Facebook features in my vidya game. At least you could have given me the option to activate or deactivate this feature when ever I wanted.
I will not be leaving the game just for some trivial bullshit like this, but I'm not liking the direction online media is heading to in general. Anonymity= freedom.
What the hell is the point of this... maybe I don't want people knowing I play WoW. Maybe I want to keep my online activities private because I do not enjoy the stigma associated with MMO's. So now my name will appear on the forums where I might QQ about trivial bullshit or write nerdy lore theories. Well that's a load of kodo feces. I don't want your gay little Facebooks features on my vidya games, Blizzard. I also don't enjoy this increasingly Big Brotheresque way of doing business. I logged into my account today and I had to agree with them monitoring my private messages.
