I liked the EQ1 way of traveling. Going from Qeynos to Freeport was an adventure in itself. Sometimes I would stop in Rivervale or maybe High Hold Keep along the way. Boat rides we for meeting new people and/or getting in to a conversation for a new adventure. I miss those days………………
As for demos, they would lose money on the game box itself. I was surprised and didn’t understand why they didn’t sell the game as a digital copy. But even with beta testing account they lost potential money because a lot of people here canceled or didn’t buy the game.
However as a customer, I would love to have a demo of a game before it is released.
I am excited about this game myself. I think this might be the game that settles me down and role play again. In the past most games for some odd reason I wanted to level, level and level some more and not play. Hopefully I will find some like minded players that want to do other things than just get to max level ASAP.
Champions is a very good game, it has plenty of customizations and quest. I say it is a ton better than City of Heroes and most MMOs out there. The item shops I don’t care for but they are in every game now, its just something that everyone needs to understand. I would highly recommend this game for anyone who wants to be a Super. However everyone has different taste, I don’t like WoW and there is a ton of people playing it, so go figure.
I recently bought this game a month ago and thought it was good. And as a lifetime owner of Champions, I know they will make this game better and better, because they have done the exact same thing with Champions. Both games very good for the casual crowd. And I am hoping that season 2 will make STO a better game and they keep on updating this gem.
Played the game at launch, liked it, but thought I would come back later (was still playing EQ2). Now since the new expansion is out, has the game gotten better?
One guy leaving a company is not the end of the world. When several employee are let go or asked to leave it is restructuring. When all of the companies customers leave, then the company is dead.

Sep 10th 2010 10:21AM (Massively)I like STO, when I was playing it I had fun. I will return when I get the honey-do list done.
STO has a lot going for it and when they implement the User Create Mission addition. Then the game should be top notch.
I think most of the nay-Sayers expect to be spoon-fed their Star Trek lunch.
Instead Cryptic has a nice canvas for the public to paint on.
