Get Excited: Nick Cave is Taking Over 'The Crow' Script

Jul 27th 2010 1:01PM (Cinematical)
This is actually quite cool. I've always liked the Crow, but the series really derailed after the first one. (I even watched the direct to video sequels hoping for some sort of turnaround). This might actually be a good one.

Turkish Exorcist

But in all seriousness, probably Zatoichi (2003) or Chushingura (with Mifune).

I like Zwick's work, but that's kind of messed up. Was that an idea entirely of the producers' or was Zwick a part of it?

Anti-Piracy Operation Kicks Ass in Asia

Gah. The MPAA should worry about making good films first, piracy second. I hardly watch any (new) American films these days because they so often disappoint.

Fantastic Four 2 confirmed

did anyone actually like the first one? I've only heard it was crap. I guess I'll get to find out after finals, if I have a spare free rental coupon. Don't really want to be spending money on it.

The Grudge 2: Buffy is back

Dec 5th 2005 5:43PM (Cinematical)
So what is this, Shimizu's 6th or 7th take on a Ju-on film? The funny thing is my fiancee and I've watched three of the japanese versions so far, including Ju-on: The Grudge, and we still haven't seen one that was really that great. They're scary for about 10 minutes before you realize there's no real main character to follow. Just an endless procession of victims.
