Spoilers: Fall of the Lich King cinematic

Feb 2nd 2010 3:07AM (WoW)
"The dragons flame sealed my fate"

To me Bolvar appears as a bitter who has Tirion around his little finger, his human life has been ended by the lifebinder, "the world of the living can no longer comfort me". I think he'll be blaming the living for the burden he takes upon himself and the condition he was put in before it. In this cinematic he's playing the hero for Tirion so that he'll give him the crown.
I could ofcourse be reading too much into things, but thats how i see it.

Yes there's plenty of room for an even more pissed off Lich King in a distant expansion.

PAX 2009: Dark mysteries of The Secret World part 2

Looks very neat, I hope they'll take their time and make it awesome.
Alot of people will have AoC fresh in their minds so the game needs to be good straight out the gate.

PAX 2009: We travel east with Rise of the Godslayer part 2

If you want something like a sword simulator, then honestly i think you should wait for wii 2, or sonys/microsofts motion systems.

The combat system remains at it's root much the same as it was at launch. One big difference is that the combo sequences are shorter now, the balance caster vs melee was very hard when melee classes had to perform those long combos to deal significant damage.

I like AoC's combat system, but it's nowhere near a simulator of any kind.

I find this statement to be abit confusing:

"Interestingly, the Gateway to Khitai, which is part of a 20-to-40 area, is the only new area being added with the expansion."

Because later you go on to talk about the other 5 regions being added.
The gateway to Khitai as I've understood it is just one of these regions, the other's lay beyond the gateway in Khitai itself and are for highlevel players.

Other than that it's a great article, as one of those who has jumped back in the game lately im looking forward to the future things being added to AoC.

One Shots: What's behind door number one

Abit late here, but yes that's indeed the Treasury. Thought the place looked awsome after finishing up my quests in there so i turned around and took a screenshot.

I resubbed about a month ago, im playing pretty casually and apart from some pvp balance issues im having a blast.

PS: In any game, on any server, in any "global" type of chat. There will be morons, ignore those few or even turn off that channel and get in contact with the community in other ways. Im sure you'll be alot happier.

Battle for Orgrimmar and Stormwind videos

I just want to clarify something about the Orgrimmar event, hope they'll have it reflected in the article later so people aren't wondering around all confused.

The even starts, not by the attack of the scourge, but with Thrall, Garrosh, Sylvanas and Saurfang discussing the matter. After the whole zombie attack thing Garrosh isn't so keen on waiting an invasion of Northrend. He and Thrall argues over this, Garrosh seems to tick off when Thrall mentions asking Jaina Proudmoore about the Alliance's respons to the attacks. Garrosh challenges him, they have a fight wich Thrall seems to be losing(This can ofc be discussed since Thrall has plenty of HP left and shamans can heal), but they're interupted by the scourge attack and Thrall says they'll finish it later. After a goodwhile fighting the attack has been pushed back and they return to the map infront of the arena, here Thrall gives Saurfang to prepare the Horde for war. Guess that pleased Garrosh.

Sorry for the wall of text, just thought the matter needed clarification as these lore things is a big deal to me. And the article is imho very unclear. Just hope the writers check these comments -.-
