player models and static combat require the biggest changes for me. Standing still bent at the hips shooting at something 30 yards away while it does the same isn't engaging.

Hate to compare as they are different games but this sounds a much more interesting implementation than the TOR version.
While the TOR stories are interesting the first time, there's very little replay value imo.

I got to 50 in under 2 months and I was taking my time and I rarely get to the cap in any games as I have an alt-aholic problem. TOR is just no fun on subsequent runs.

Even if you play LS on one and DS on the other, you follow the exact same path pretty much. The choices you are offered have no overreaching impact on your direction or if they do, I've yet to witness it.

I bought a beast of a PC to play AoC in preparation for its release and then weirdly (thankfully maybe), never bought the game!

Best fun I ever had in any game playing in the PVP lakes (and I typically hate pvp). I'm not currently playing it but the latest changes seem to be heading in the right direction..ie looking to address some long term crap issues that have been hanging around for ever.
Unfortunately the damage to the game's reputation is almost legend which is a shame as there is so much fun to be had.

I think I have already had enough of tor so hopefully war will still be around for me to destroy a few more (annoying as hell) Archmages.

@bleyzwun I do agree about the skills that only work on weak mobs. Hate that idea.

Someone needs to do something about the comment spam on this site. It's getting worse.

@Bezza My hope is that they completely overhaul their stupid maintenance schedule full stop. With this new influx in new time zones they really need to have separate maintenance windows.
The weekly 8 hour during daylight hours plus all the minor 'emergency' ones also during EU daytime is really getting on my nerves.
