Of course I'm at work, where all social networking is blocked, might have something to do with it. I have every single script enabled on the page though, and nothing has a twitter, or facebook, domain (thru firefox noscript).

Relogged, cleared cache etc, still not seein' new stuff. And not seeing anything at all at Massively, new or old comments.

Not to mention folks like me can't access social media sites at work. Bleh.

I want so much to comment on this with experiences that I may or may not have had, but I can neither confirm nor deny that I was even in the beta this weekend. :(

That's what I was thinking. Guess we'll find out eventually...

They're a boon, but they need to stop being called betas.

If it's a stress-test, they need to call it such. If it's a pre-release demo to get you hooked, they need to call it that.

I can't remember the last true beta that I experienced, where bugs that you filed were actually fixed. And I've been in a lot.

Oh, I imagine the ps2 could probably be redirected to a different IP address for the game one way or another. I can think of a few ways that it might work. People managed to get Dreamcast and Gamecube PSO players onto private servers after all, through either DNS spoofing or cheat devices.

The big issue would be programming the server emulator itself, which nobody has done yet. There's a month left for anyone interested in such a project to collect network traffic data :)

Depends on the game and how bad its UI is (for me) to begin with. FFXI, definitely no, can't stand it without spellcast and other windower plugins. Rift, I can totally manage without addons since the built-in customization and macros are excellent.

Re: "Highest level of education?"

No option for "five years of college but no piece of paper". :-(

Pretty sure you's trollin', but I'll bite anyway, because this is something I'll argue with anyone all day about.

I'm 100% for all the women and minorities fighting for equal rights.

I am not, however, for anything that gives any one group an advantage. Any education you get should be 100% about ability, 0% about what you are. This includes skin pigmentation and reproductive organs.

Unfortunately that's not how the system is set up right now. Things like this scholarship from SOE just make it worse.

Anyone who's truly for EQUAL rights would be against this as well, by definition. Scholarship money given to women only is not equal.
