Why is there a need for a politics MMO? One already exists its called real life politics. All the political simulator games I have played are skewed politically (to the left) and I think it would be hard for a game maker not to put their biases in the game. If there is biased one way or other it will ruin the game.
Its instant fun unlike many games we read about here. You can get to racing right away. I am not sure if its necessarily a "session" online game, but if you have 30 mins to kill here and there its damn good fun. And unlike several betas I have done of late, it was not that bug filled towards the end. They producers have a done a good job with this and I think it fits neatly into the "NFS" world.
And who doesn't enjoy punting F&F fanboyz off the road in your 1967 Dodge Charger?
It ain't deep, but sometimes you want daft fun from your MMO.
From what I heard much of this was complained about in beta and done nothing about. Now that the game is not living up to sales expectations they are rushing things out. Why have beta testers if you ignore their points?
Not for the casual gamer for sure. To be honest I found it incredibly boring with low level grind that is some of the worst I have ever experienced. Yeah Eve on the ground sounds about right.
Very generous review... I played it in the preview "key thing" I was bored by the end of my time. Deeply flawed, repetitive and gets dull very quick. Expect it to go FTP fairly soon.
Well at the risk of making a very awful pun, its easy to step into and have fun right away. Bonis points for having a Dodge available so soon into the game. Still needs a bit of tweaking, but if you are into racing games and want a persistent world you could do far worse.
