Why does the headline have Gamersfirst in it at all? They didn't buy it, their publisher K2 did.

Most of the people who rant about SWTOR failing, are not ranting just for the sake of seeing a game fail. I posted on this before, but as usual, selective memory fails some it seems. SWTOR gets ranted on by some gamers because maybe those gamers have a little more experience in mmo's than some gamers and maybe know what works usually and what doesn't.

Ruby's comment that "if 'gamers' don't like it, don't play it" statement is pretty weak to say the least. How does someone get the position she has with shallow comments like that?

Not to mention she has the arrogance to end in saying "if you don't like a game, she doesn't want to hear it?" Wow. That is a pretty narrow view from someone in reporting mmo reviews and news.

Shawn I can understand about being where he is coming from, but I scratch my head every week about Ruby and why she is still around. Other than the obvious that she is just a "token female" for the show.

I could not agree more with the OP. I find it too funny really that I have been going on about these very topics for months but yet the fanboi's persist in their flaming, lol.

APB's main problem wasn't solely the hackers, it was their business plan/model just like that supposed ex-employee pointed out. Several other sites and forums have talked about this very point so how come you guys dropped the ball on it?

Also, the reason some of us are hoping RTW crashes with APB isn't because we have some sick desire to seem them fail. It's because most of us were either in the beta or KTTC and tried to post feedback to RTW, telling them their business plan would fail, and guess what it did and now they can join the unemployment line.

Pretty presumptuous titling the article in claiming that the video quells any fans fears, seriously. If anything it makes the game look worse for adding a themepark on rails imo.

If anyone sounds like a troll it would be you. Who are you to tell anyone what game they should or shouldn't play just because you don't like their opinion? Get off your fanboi soapbox and read the facts.

Regardless of what BW "claims" they are doing to design SWTOR, it doesn't negate the facts that they are following WoW's designs, NOT the traditional mmo. The only thing that leads to is just another overhyped and disappointingly mediocre mmo just like the intellectually insulting mmo; WoW.

It would be great if devs lately would stop pushing out so many of these Mediocre mmo's with mediocre half-thought out content.
