Hawaiian Pizza was my lunch both days at the little "pizza by the slice" place a block down the street from the con. Much cheaper to eat there and quick to get food.
WoW clicked for me the first minute of playing in the beta before it launched. I have been hooked ever since. Just the style and play of the game sucked me right in. After all the other MMO's I had played (UO for several years, AO, MCO, EQ, SWG etc). Something about WoW just felt so much more fun.
It probably was also when I could once again click on peons and have them say silly things. Well also being able to club them so they stopped sleeping was just one of those "I am going to enjoy this game" moments.
I took my shaman to northrend at lvl 68 and while it took longer to kill things, the rate I hit the next two levels was extremely fast. Regular quest turn-ins seemed to be giving XP gains about equal to outland group quests or even more. I am not by any means a speed leveling person but I found that I went from 68-70 in only a couple hours. Also by this time I had gathered several quest items/drops that upgraded my chars dps and HP by a large amount. By 71 I was outfitted and killing things at a very fast pace again.
As far as buying gear for honor goes, according to Bornakk, everything will take either Arena Rating, Arena Points or a combo of both. So arena is a must do. =(
I remember when scholomance had an insane amount of undead that took hours to 5-man through a series of extremely careful pulls. On the plus side though, you were able to take more then 5 people into the dungeon at once!
