Curse.com sued by Games Workshop over Warhammer Alliance's name

May 9th 2010 8:56AM (Massively)
I would not be surprised if GW want the Warhammer MMO canceled but EA are choosing to keep it going. I seriously doubt this is for money as all they would probably manage to get is the site shut down/name changed.

Aion open beta hits some hiccups, but patches are on the way

But I thought Aion was perfect?

Seriously, even with technical issues resolved the game is still a major let down.
1. It shows that the game as been built on an engine primarily made for FPS games... feels a lot like running around in tf2 with the /thirdperson command
2. No skill trees is a major turn off for me as there will be little diveristy between the sames classes.
3. The games is ugly. They put to much effert into the character models and it as results in a rather generic world with big ugly textures.
4. The Korean MMO grid is still there.

Latest SWTOR video showcases astounding levels of in-game footage

I stopped playing after about 15 days.
My first impressions are the performance is now much better and change to item stats is great.

The Daily Grind: Do MMOs need to be more accessible to disabled people?

It is not viable for a MMO to cater to people with disabilities. Who is going to pay for it?

Anti-Aliased: WAR, huh, what is it good for? pt. 2

Good summary overall but shouldn't you be comparing battlegrounds to scenarios not open rvr.

I think the problem with the open rvr is that there is very little reason to do them over the scenarios which give better xp and gold.
