A good old SWG crafter buddy of mine switched to this game and cashes out 100 to 500 a month pending on the conversion to US dollar. Its an ultimate dream to play a real market in a game for her. She also has the time to learn the game and naturally plays the markets and ebay. I kind of wish stocks would be allowed in more mmo sci fi games.
The turtle neck is so awesome but he should have had a pipe in his mouth as well like Freud. 1.2 is a pretty hefty update. I can't wait for the UI changes.
I think the idea of a micro transaction store was a mistake for Incarna. They should seriously allow players to craft all those social items that have to be dependent upon the existing game. I think once Dust 514 settles in we'll see more avatar content based on the existing game mechanics within the PC games lore and game play. It would be nice to see them release "sec wars" on the ipad using the UT III engine.
@real65rcncom I always think in terms of independent stats away from the mainstream within the 40k table top genre. So that's why I can say a lot of people did like it. Space Marine moved 1.2 million units across all platforms. To me when you line up people in one row, that's a lot of life. Now on aglobal scale that's nothing. which I think is BS. It just depends on your view or your market. For me I stand by that 1.2 million units and know how to make a profit with that type of sales even though I am a suite and tie. Million means money. And money fund art.
I can agree with your second paragraph.I don't feel it should be made into an MMO. I think MMO's are dying. Which I am glad to see because it will get us back to a real gamer's sport and away from this instant gratification BS.
That is really a bummer. What they should now do is make a Space Marines II which is the same game engine and pursue that avenue. A lot of people did enjoy that game. The war hammer series may just be a continued cult status for gaming which is not a bad thing. World of Warcraft has really profited from its influence of the WH universe which is kind of sad.
