I agree, in vanilla it went back and forth as oppsoed to being even. I didn't paly back in vanilla but I did some things while lvling. Some cases alliance had it easier (connecting FP's around EK w/o goin into the bad lands) and other horde did (fishing quest for 300 had all the locations a stone throw away froma horde city, but were quiet a run for allaince to get to). And even those could just be due to Blizzard being new to the MMO game, we can all see how much blizzard is learning and evolving over the course of the game.

You just completely missed the point. Yes you were asking a very valid given when GC did start posting regualrly but you did in a dickish manner by saying "this GC lameo". So don't be suprised when someone get's annoyed at you given GC's reputation within the WoW community.

Well he did say it was BETA vanilla wow not live, and i'm sure just like LK, Vanilla Beta and Live we're very differnt from start to finish.

Less is more would be the case if it wasn't BASE mana, meaning your mana pool when you are naked with no talents, meaning Int still increases yours mana pool without increasing the cost of spells.

Also Heilig is spot on. I have bout 513 def atm, losing the 20 from anticipation I go down to 493. So lower defense on just about any of ym gear drops me below 490. At the rate they are removing it I imagine I'm jsut gonna have to throw on my +Def rating Trinkets I keep around for my resist set and lose about 1k b/c of that. I'm sure it'll be fine in Lich King b/c it's all balanced.

Another point on that is Tier gear might be better for a while. You all probably noticed Tier gear didn't lose any dodge/defnese/SBV instead they traded teh agility on the gear for Str, so that T4,5,6 you may ahve in the bank might jsut save your hide fto stay uncritable to lich King.

All that aside I appreciate Blizz's attempts not to force tanks to abandon all their high lvl epics to down/side grades b/c of the massive overhaul to tanking.
