Other people are stopping you from using Trade.

Either the "lawl, use LFD newb" type, or the "TRADE IS FOR TRADE CHAT!" type, or the "[your sword] anal!" type, or... well, everyone else in trade who doesn't want to do server-specific grouping.

If they had a little check box that said something like "Same server group only" or what not, it would alleviate the bitching. At least until the 2 hour queue times hit them, and then... woo boy.

If I'm not mistaken, the weapon imbues used to only last 5 minutes, much like the old Paladin seals.

Whenever I'm in a group, I tend to rebuff my Windfury/Flametongue/Lightning Shield whenever there is some down time between pulls / before bosses.

My naming method is to sit and think of what 5-letters sound like a passable name.


... ok, sometimes I have inspiration (Nipah? A virus. Tetri? Tetris. Loriq? From Mass Effect. Jinian? From The True Game. Earmuffs? er yeah, there's a story to that one. Gingivitis? ... really?), but I generally go with what I can think of off the top of my head.

Zeril, Zulim, Katori, Taqu(s), Juran, Jur, Kalig, Elis, etc.

I really try to keep my character names "realistic", but sometimes I do get carried away. However, I always try to keep them between 3-6 letters, just so its a bit harder for people to mindlessly abbreviate them ("DON'T CALL ME NIP!").

If you ask me, Trollbane deserves to be back in the water.
