LotRO cleans up the Warden's act
Mar 9th 2012 10:58PM (Massively)I'm not telling people to avoid bringing in a warden to tank. A good warden can tank just as much as a good captain can tank. The issue is that the amount of effort put forth in order to be a good warden can drain all the fun out of the experience. I am happy to finally see the warden changes front and center.
The Daily Grind: Have media impressions affected your excitement level for Guild Wars 2?
Feb 21st 2012 9:02AM (Massively)When I see the ideas flow back and forth, I tend to get excited. Then again, I did get excited about Warhammer Online when they were shooting ideas with retro quest tracking, environment group events, and PvP matches. We all know how that game ended up.
CCP revisiting EVE's new player experience
Feb 17th 2012 11:23AM (Massively)I would like more reward in exploration, interaction, and discovery. Be retro - instead of 'Go To X,' how about 'Thanks for coming to X." It will encourage people to see new places. Then again, I haven't played EVE for so long that maybe they changed all that.

Captain's Log: A year in review
Feb 5th 2012 12:19AM (Massively)The game only kept me going for a good month before I ran out of things to do. I fear the same will be true as I continue trying the game again as F2P.
The Daily Grind: How much searching do you want in your game?
Jan 15th 2012 9:51PM (Massively)I do not want the directional objective marks to go away. Every now and then my brain goes numb and I spend 10 minutes looking for an item that was perhaps right next to the quest-giver. I do want to be able to obtain items and retrieve them beforehand. Seems like modern quests punish people by having them revisit the same areas they have explored beforehand.
The Daily Grind: Do you rush to endgame?
Dec 31st 2011 12:44PM (Massively)Seems to be the same with me. I want to see everything from start to finish, but the challenge of joining a raid group and then completing the content is far too troublesome than its worth.
