I think CCP made a logical and understandable change. If you want to advance a character, pay for the account. (Just like in every other MMO...)

Having played EQ, WOW, AC, AC2, SWG, DDO, Planetside, and GW, LOTRO is my personal favorite MMO. Of course this is only one person's opinion. I am actually glad that negative juvenile whiners don't seem to like LOTRO, it makes the game so much more pleasant for the rest of us!

The Burglar changes/additions look interesting and will help flesh out the different playstyles possible with burgs in LOTRO.

CCP deserves major kudos for supporting linux and Os X! Hopefully Blizzard will add linux support to their existing mac support soon.

I think Turbine and Mythic really dropped the ball by not releasing clients for alternative operating systems, especially mac!

EVE allows for player owned stations, and the 0.0 space is all about persistently changing the world and claiming space/resources while engaging in mass logistical warfare between alliances.

Maybe you should trade in your tights and pointy ears for a micro-warp drive and some lasers...

I usually play LOTRO from 1 to 2 hours at a time. This makes some long instances a bit hard to manage...

meh... I don't think anyone needs to spend time making boring negative comments about games they don't play... ;-)


As for the actual question asked, I am looking forward to exploring the new classes, especially as they may impact Monster Play!
