This is ridiculous. The guy called for trying to get a person to kill himself and is now offended that Massively labeled it as cyber-bullying? Please, if anything cyber-bullying is not enough for what he did. He deliberately asked for action resulting in a person killing himself, he should be charged for criminal offense. I mean imagine if they succeeded, then what?
Massively has nothing to apologize for and Mittani and his Goon accomplices is the last persons to ask for such.
All this does not take away the fact that the game has outdated and just plain bad UI, combat which is neither tactical nor engaging and a physics engine which is completely devoid of anything resembling real space physics.
I mean, I like to play in a "world" in MMORPGs but I want the game to still have good basic features like mentioned above. Eve does not.
Nice to see a professional reviewer finally say what many of us gamers are saying. We dont care for dev. driven stories which drives us in a straight line, we want to choose our paths ourselves. Isnt that one of the fundamental points in playing an MMO?
This game needs one thing to shine and that is proper world PvP. Altough I do like the suggestion of capitals being under attack by high level mobs, that would be awesome.
I am not talking about auto fit for modules you already have. I am talking about automatically transporting the modules you want from station X to Y, because now you have to do it either yourself or pay another player to do it.
And spare me the dont fly anything you cant afford crap. I have heard it a million times before but I play games to have fun, not as a second job. And it is no fun flying cheap crap because you dont want to spend an hour grinding to replace a battle ship.
Glass cannon follows Eve's mentality of destroying alot of ships and fueling the economy. Unfourtunately it also means alot of time spent getting a new ship and refitting it. They should really create some kind of auto-fit system so that you cant get back into the action quicker rather than flying around for 30 mins to find the parts you need.
