I loved that game. I really wanted to resubscribe to play again, but unfortunatly I can't afford another monthly 15 dollars right now. Single player games just don't do it for me anymore.
@ Brian "Now if it was just in a D&D setting I actually cared about like Dragonlance, Dark Sun, or Ravenloft..." I couldn't agree anymore. That would be sooooo f'ing cool.
I loved Vanguard, but the empty population killed it for me.
Pantheon of the Ancients was the most fun I've had in a MMORPG since EQ
Now, if it only wasn't for Verizon. With my current T-mobile plan ( 39.99 for 3000 anytime minutes + 35 for unlimited text + data ), I just can't see going back to Verizon. Which really sucks, because I LOVE my blackberry curve. I did just order the G1, because it's the only touch screen that we have so far. But if they had the Bold for T-mobile it wouldn't have even been choice for me.
The graphics look very good imo. Remember. If you want graphics like AoC, you are not going to get good performance in large RvR battles, and that is what the end game is all about. Making the game fun, play good, and making it playable was a very smart move.
"I love all the snobby comments from the "uber musicians". After you are done learning a real instrument and starting a real bad why don’t you try the following:
Instead of playing Gran Turismo why don’t you learn how to drive a real racecar, dork! And to all those Madden players, come on now just get your ass off the couch and get drafted in the NFL. Hey loser, yea you playing GTA. Why don’t you grab a bat and start stealing cars and beating some hookers in real life.
These are games people, get over yourselves. It’s not like they took a real guitar and gutted it to make a controller, they made it specifically and I’m sure much cheaper for the game."
EXACTLY
It's just a game. Some people like spending their extra cash on goodies for their cars. Do they need them? No. It makes them happy. Why knock people for spending their extra cash on a game that makes them happy?
And really? I know plenty of people in local bands here in NY, and MOST of them either play rockband or at the least, have tried it, and man, if you can't find the fun in just getting together with some of your friends and some beers, and banging away on the drums, or in my case, TRYING to sound decent on the mic, well, then maybe you should be outside doing outdoor, physical stuff. Instead of commenting on these boards about how all the people that are HAVING fun are losers.
