My wife runs a guild in WoW and leads raids several times a week. She kicks serious ass all over Azeroth. She is much better at fighting then I'll ever be. Know I remember why we left SOE they are a bunch of clueless idiots.

The lame lame excuse that the salaries of the people in Stargate Atlantis is getting too high is a cheap, cheap, cheap copout. Sci-fi is taking the lamest, cheapest, crappiest route possible by human kind. They are going to turn Stargate in to LostShip 90210. With lots of pretty young things sleeping with each other every week, a different partner every week, might as well put in on Cinemax Latenight. Might as well we're on a trip to NO where! Hey let's screw! It's Voyager with no helm control. Lame Lame Lame. This is the worst of all worlds. This is the same short sighted miopic thinking that cancelled Moonlight and Jericho. Way to go CBS! Now Sci-fi is copying you! Why is Ghostwhisper on the air still?!??!?

Real Science Fiction is long dead on TV in any channel. He's hoping the Star Wars Live Action Series can save sci-fi in 2010. We need a dark, gritty, dirty sci-fi series again! My dissapointment in the "you can never go broke appealing to the lowest common denominator" mentality is confirmed once again.

About freaking time. SWG is dead now. I see mass abandoning of the game as this gets ramped up.

Bioware will not and has not over promised in the past. Unlike Mythc's recent /epic fail.

Since Jedi everywhere is cannon in this time period, this will make bank and keep the holders on continuity happy.

I'm happy the cat is finally out of the bag. Gets everyone so hung up on the NGE a chance to finally move on with their lives and focus on something positive for a change.

These people have absolutely no idea what they are doing. None, zero, zip, nada, nanimo nai! AOC was such an Epic Fail. I tried it, a total waste of $50. I'll never play AOC again. In 6 months or less, their retention rate will fall thought the floor. The fact that the speed of animations really does affect DPS is sad in every way possible, and what is sadder is the fact that is took a very tenacious player to examine the game himself to determine this. You'd think after 1,000 different animations some one, SOMEONE at Funcom would have realized that slower animations = lower DPS. This is the kind of fundamental amateur hour antics that will cost funcom its existence.

There is no defense for this kind of incompetence, especially after running AO for these 7 years. It's not like that have not done an mmo before.

They could have added geo-location to the logins to prevent sharing and hacking of your account. should someone not in your area log in, like from china, they would be found out instantly and the account closed preventing any loss of items. It would simply not allow to log in at all.

How do I know this works? Because I peronally impemented this very security system for a project I worked on. Took all of 2 days and $200 to buy the ip database to complete the real time geo locator sytstem and store the locations of where you where loggin in from in our database and to check it everytime you logged in. Very simple. Why blizzard never bothered to do this I have no idea. This saved us so much grief and money and worked perfectly.
