Nice write-up. I look forward to some more LotD info next week. That's too bad that it's not the RvR boon some people thought it would be and it seems like it didn't really help subscription numbers, as the game is down to 5 servers now in the U.S., I think. You touched on the subject, but do the servers feel a little empty?
I agree, WAR has moments in it that you will probably never experience again in another MMO. These moments don't happen that frequently for me, but I hope their ideas will increase the frequency in the future.
CCoene, Black Orcs got one nerf and about 10 buffs. Their dps is much more substantial and they are more useful in groups now. Marauders got their terrible embrace pull buffed so they can use it on the move now. The only classes that got really nerfed were Witch Elves and Witch Huners, but that was inevitable.
@ WoW Fanbois - you have ZERO perspective. for 90% of you, WoW was your first MMO.
@ Darkfall fanbois - your MMO is vaporware. How long has this been in production and you still wait?
@ AoC fanbois - ... nevermind, you aren't even worth this
Seriously, this is not a big deal. Everyone needs to relax. If you were making a game, would you include imperfect elements in your game if you felt the rest of it was perfect? I should hope not.
Most of us that are closely following the game would like the game to launch, even if it means that 4 classes may not be available. Beta is for testing, right? If WoW had been more thorough in beta, it might not still be fixing classes that launched four years ago.
I think everyone will like this game. There are amazing gameplay elements such as living guilds, keep and city sieges, tome of knowledge, public quests, and trophies that are going to make this game more deep than anything anyone has ever played.
Anyway, have you ever been to Thunder Bluff and Undercity? /yawn
