I completely agree about DKs' roleplaying potential. I don't RP in WoW, but I noticed that as I was leveling my DK, I was almost automatically coming up with a backstory for her. Their narrative is too compelling to resist.
The question is, what proportion of the people signing up for this are not taking the time to actually read and understand how it works? If it's too high, this could backfire in a big way.
Remember, Blizzard, the problem with making a game that is easy and fun even for stupid people, is you end up with a customer base that's full of stupid people. That's fine as long as you don't piss them off.
It was perfectly clear to me, and I'm not sure how they could have made it any clearer, short of a flashing .GIF that says NO SERIOUSLY DUDE YOU ARE GIVING US THIS MONEY NO MATTER WHAT.
Asking for features that make the game more convenient and enjoyable is not "entitlement." "Entitlement" is getting pissed off when the desired convenience features are not delivered immediately and then whining about how much Blizzard owes you personally because you pay $15 a month.
Well, I think it's pretty clear that Older Guy is into her. So either she's engaging in some pretty massive denial, or she knows but is unsure of how to handle it, or she knows and is enjoying it. (Or he's gay, but if that were the case, I think she would have mentioned it to Robby and Robby would have mentioned it in his letter and probably chilled out a lot.) I wouldn't be able to choose among those three options without knowing more about her personality.
You don't? Seriously? It sounds like you guys are young, so here's a life tip: Don't EVER, EVER, EVER trust someone like this. He's a flake, he has a chip on his shoulder, he's a liar, and he's got an entitlement complex. Run far, far away from people like this.
Also, it's probably time to send your guild to that great guildhall in the sky.
