It pushed me into the world naked (literally) and no money to buy clothing. I learned later that the naked avatars thing was a glitch. But I never went back to see if it was fixed because customer service never answered my complaint and the forums told me that it was my problem.
The sentence is too light. It should have been a permanent ban. But now we all know where CCP aka "The Kings of Monocles" stand on social issues.
And all this crying about painting the whole player base black is just ridiculous. I played EO for six months and I saw the behavior that was allowed and knew it would slow down its growth. However, at the time I played, this was before newbies were ganked in high sec in order to steal their nearly worthless ore for the laughs. If that had been the case, as it is now, CCP would never have got even 6 months revenue from me.
I think everyone at Blizzard has been watching Rex Harrison's Doctor Doolittle too often. Instead of a snail we'll have a TURTLE. That totally isn't ripping off other IPs. lol
As far as the talking heads. Why do they continually insist on pushing forward spokespeople who make fans rage?
I loved and still love this game so much but I don't play it now.
I spent two and half years in it. At some point it looked as if it would turn around. But then they allowed players to RR100, did not give RR80 + players their own zone, and gave them god like armor.
I took a break after that patch came out, the next time I logged in, my RR60 character was road kill.
Now the developers are stuck in a corner. If they balance out the game, it will anger the players they have left. The ones who are mini raid encounters unto themselves. Instead of turning players into raid bosses they should have cleaned up their interesting PVE play and worked on another tier zone.
