Gordon Ramsey's food is actually quite text book plain. I have eaten at two of his restaurants when he was in the back and the food was good, consistent, but....meh. Difference between British and french chefs I guess. Brits are all about marching in line, making the plate look exactly like it would if you looked the dish up on foodipedia. Frenchies have imaginations and will take risks to surprise their clients, not always in a good way, but usually interesting!

I cant wait for this, sounds so epic.

I have only had lag when joining other peoples boats, when I start it myself me and whoever else joins usually has at least 4 bars. I think the issue is with the peer to peer way they do grouping. My PC is a monster rig with state of the art crap in it, so when I host null sheen. If someone with a rig thats barely able to run the game hosts though it's understandable why trying to render something for 1-3 other people ALSO tends to slow things down.

As far as the game adding yet another gnoll though....I mean....how many freaking gnolls do we need? Slightly different color, took off his hat and added flames to his hammer....but I think I have seen this guy before somewhere...

Actually he makes fun of WoW (and wow players) more than eve, it's just that eve players are so hyper-sensitive and defensive of their graphical spreadsheet that you guys ACT like he spends 2 dedicated hours a day personally insulting your mothers.
It's a game, it's popular enough that more than 10 people know about it, it will get made fun of. Life goes on and the wounds will heal....with thyme.

Glad your enjoying it, myself I never got to meet any of the nice people you talk about. I tried joining more than one guild and if not immediately laughed at, insulted, or killed I was usually ignored. I tried for over a month to find any reason to like that game. I guess my main problem was I started too long after release and before any "new recruit" pushes so the noobie areas I was in were mainly populated by griefers and their "decoys". A decoy is a low level alt that groups with you then leads you somewhere you can be more easily ganked. I have played allot of pvp games, this is the first one where more than one person went through so much effort to gank one low level with pretty much nothing to his name.

So counter to your experience, mine was like being a raiders fan in the cowboys locker room. Some of the lowest forms of life I have ever experienced in a game, and ive played WoW!

For questing resto is obviously not a great choice (unless your really really high or really really patient...)
What do you guys suggest for straight zone question? enhance or elemental? I am currently doing LFD's as elemental in my resto gear, short of the set bonuses its the exact same stats as elemental set+spirit=hit so I save some slots that would normally be filled by +hit gear that are free.
On the other hand my enhancement set has a couple pieces of heroic gear (including axe+gutbuster) so it is fairly well filled out. But in the bc--->wrath transition I noticed elemental was a MUCH faster soloing spec.

I think your going to see allot less of "just ten people showing up" if the numbers are forced to be even. On my server it is not uncommon for alliance to go into WG completely naked as their x3 numbers makes it mostly a race for them just to find someone to nuke. After awhile the horde players just stopped showing up until it was late enough all the kids went to bed. Even then the numbers were usually 2 to 1, but at least then we had a chance.
With an even playing field I imagine I will que up every time, and if I don't get in I imagine I will being queing up for the next one right? Which means people will be more aware and likely way more likely to que in the hopes of getting in.
Either way wintergrasp was a fail idea that just gave the faction with larger numbers free pvp gear and weekly's while further depressing the lower pop side. It's how wg should have been.

AC2 will always be a black hole in the giant love I had for turbine at the time. I was a long time and very happy ac1 player and was hoping the new game would be similar but with improved graphics and gameplay. What we got was one of the worst mmo's I have ever played. I will never forget that a week after ac2 had launched 100% of my barony that had left for it had already returned with storm clouds over their heads.
Allot of people called it a $50 lesson about buying an mmo on launch.

Gold sellers in MMO's where gold has little actual value tend to make the majority of their money off new players who are not yet aware of the markets, and come from games where starting out with 1000 times what a character of similar level normally has is a huge boost. I was asking a friend who is doing a big paper for a econ class why the farmers normally spam noobie zones way more than the higher level zones that they could conceivably get to even with a low level throw away toon.
The other thing to take into consideration is the profit made from selling one days work worth of gold to a player from a developed country is plenty enough to cover the labor costs of the farmers with a significant profit besides.
