@nimzy Experiencing loss is part of learning the ropes in EVE. Every loss is a learning opportunity. My first PVP ship loss, and first time I was pod-killed were both with the Uni. Those wardecs were my introduction to PVP in eve. Invaluable experience.

@Pelti - that's pretty much what the Singularity client is, even though Sisi is where new features are tested, it also features a mirror copy of your TQ character (mostly, anyway) and a fully stocked market, where everything is sold for 100 isk. Want to try out your new PVP fit without risking the loss? Singularity's the place to do it.

Of course, it won't let you fit and fly ships you don't currently have the skills for - but it does eliminate the financial hurdle of buying and fitting that ship only to see it destroyed moments later. Lots of players use Sisi for sparring for that very purpose, and if I'm not mistaken, I think it's even considered "canon" now as a simulator for pod pilots, as a recent piece of fiction on the EVE site referred to such a thing, sounded like Singularity to me.

Sad to hear Tony's no longer with CCP. I read and enjoyed The Empyrean Age and I'll be picking this one up too.

@(Unverified) This was my reaction exactly. Or that the heirarchy of the ranks was too difficult to remember. Good lord. Don't hate the change, doesn't really matter to me... but the fact that it was apparently necessary is very depressing. :/

Lineage 2 - I've long been interested in the title (and its predecessor, was pondering joining when it closed) and the new f2p conversion makes it a perfect candidate I think.
