I agree with you Spoonmaster - a WoW Insider poll probably won't catch all the 12-year-old and similarly mentally-aged noobs. But I'm a 16-year-old girl gamer, so I guess I'm breaking a few of the stereotypes anyway.
Well so far at least my shadow priest At'naed and the druid Stormtamer will be Turpster's adds. Don't know how much use we'll be, but we'll probably be able to draw some fire at least!
I think using the Arthas plot-line would be cool, since it would tie in with the new expansion. People would watch the film, then think "Awesome! You mean I actually get to fight against Arthas himself in the game!" Obviously it's going to be high-end raid stuff...but it will encourage people to play, or return to play the new expansion.
Never played EQ2, probably never will since WoW and RL are more than enough for me. However I think if I was to play it, I would go more for the community more than anything else. If the beginning really wasn't fun, and WoW an improvement anyway, I don't see much in the gameplay that would attract me.
That was one of the most hilarious things I have seen in a while And heard for that matter - Darth Vader with a Turpster accent is just...bizarre. But very funny. Intro was very cool as well.
Yeah, I understand that Darth Turpster, I mean Vader, hijacked the show a little bit, but you're Turpster (good Jedi Turpster that is)! You are more awesome than him! You should have vanquished him once and for all, and shown us your opinions on the game!
But yeah, other than that, made of win and awesome.
