That is correct, many have broken a million - how long they held onto that number is a different story.

Also I do not think any hates SWG, I think they hate the way Sony/Lucas handled it. In fact as time goes on it starting to look more like Lucase was fustrated with WoW becoming so popular. Lucas could not stand the fact that something as simple as WoW was more popluar than something Star Wars.

I agree - I hate holiday events, I wish they would go away. It is bad enough that I have to deal with the in real life and now in my virtual one.

The only sandbox game out right now would EvE, which equals awesome.

Maybe Vanguard at some level but other than that I cannot think of any. The rest are all EQ clones...

I agree with the above statement, WoW has killed MMO's. Now where stuck with these EQ casual clones...

Mostly I think it is just because WoW was the first MMO for the majority of players. I am not a WoW fan; however, up until LOTRO came along it was the most soild. WoW should what you can do if you polish polish polish. With that said as far as games go I feel LOTRO is the better MMO. Really if you boil it down WoW is not an MMO but the next evolution of the action RPG.

I cannot speak for PotBS - only did a bit in beta. However, I think LOTRO is a very social MMO. In fact if not for LOTRO I would have probably given up on MMO's a long time ago. Because of WoW - which I feel as ruined my favorite game type - most people login for the items and not the adventure...
