Actually, I had never heard of the googlies offering until the day. So thousands of people go 'huh?', attempt to try it out and come away going 'what a crock'. I know I did. Smart move. Rock on M lol

Oh its an SL killer alright. Also killed Lotus Notes, IE and a bunch of other stuff and left my machine crawling. Do yourself a favour and avoid it completely.

Honestly - Big P admits they might have made a bit of a mistake and gets hammered for it. We all know it was badly done but it still happened. Lets call a truce here people and see you at SL10B. And M Linden (tm probably) seems more and more human, for a CEO :)

I must admit I would not buy L$ from anyone other than the big L itself. Seems too risky. I mean - what do you gain? And don't go the whole 'i can't get a credit card' route. That is totally bogus

I think we sometimes forget that we don't actually own the company. We are after all just customers. Yes we feel (some of us anyway) that we have some almost mystic connection to the Lab, just by our love of the platform. But reality strikes - coup de foudre - we are just a cash source. And they never lied about that
