Well, actually I DID play WoW Pre-BC ok, maybe even been playing longer than you, I joined up in 2005. So yeah I do know what you are talking about. Even though is was uber casual and never got to raid it I was in a guild that did, and have seen the trials and tribulations involved in pre-BC raiding
Meh I saw a PUG once looking for one more (I was only level 71), so I decided I would try with my brother's (undergeared) mage (I had never played a mage), they invited me to the group, did plague quarter successfully with no wipes. So if someone who has never played their class or even raided at the level cap can go and successfully raid, this means that the above poster must be correct when referring to how easy it really is.
OMG I would soooooo get the Arena game on my Xbox if it came out. I know they haver REPEATEDLY said that they would not develop a console version of WoW but they never said anything about a mini-game type thing. If they aren't making they definitely should, I believe they could attract some more console players to the PC WoW after they got addicted to the Arena game.
I vote for Six-Demon Bag as no.1 . I picked this thing up on my char at level 46 and am still using it at 66 and will continue to use it, although it's usefulness has not always been that great. Nothing beats summoning a felhound or sheeping a mob with this thing. MY favourite is when in a group and you need a heal and the thing polymorphs yourself and you are all healed up Self-CC heal FTW
AQ4o was just awesome it was the first time in game history I felt it was a community working for the same goal (war effort). To get the gates to open. Was really cool. Hence why i voted 1.9 Ahn'Qiraj, Linked Auction Houses, Paladin Revamp.
but in a close equal second second comes 1.12 and 1.11for me the cross-realm battlegrounds were great, i was a rogue so i enjoyed the revamp. I also enjoyed the undead invasion, and the new key rings were helpful, although i never got to see insider Naxx
