Breakfast Topic: The first thing you do in patch 4.0.1

The maintenance will be extended past the original estimate, I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to log in until sometime tonight, at least.

Breakfast Topic: Slowbies, what's first on your Cataclysm to-do list?

Nobody's doing anything for the first month, this is going to be a Bug-Palooza for awhile.

Blizz has never attempted anything on this scale, and it's going to be a headache.

Beat the rush and disable your addons now.

I'm a tad confused.

If we can play Cataclysm before the actual expansion goes on sale, then...why do we need the expansion at all?

Blizz has never done anything on this scale before, it's going to be a huge bug-pain for awhile. I have a hard time believing they would release it during Thanksgiving week.

For those of you too young to remember, the cow scene from Twister is an homage to the Wizard of Oz.

Breakfast Topic: Is WoW worth it when it's a full-time job?

Jul 19th 2010 9:22AM (WoW)
I used to play 10 hours per day or more when I first started, but I was unemployed then, which helped.

Now that I'm working again, I don't have the time to put in that I used to, but I think it was worthwhile when I had the time. I made several in-game friends that I still enjoy interacting with. I guess the answer I would give is, "If you have the time, it's worth it!"
