Ive been looking to find a map that works like the Carbonite one. I would like to ditch Carbonite but the map mod is what I want. Ive pretty much turned off all other aspects of it except the map. And not the mini map the world map. I like a see through sizeable map. I use to have one in vanilla but its long since been broken.
I offer two ways to balance the zone and make it less of a pain to win while on the attack.
First, the defenders need to control more than just one base. If you cant control two bases on defense and the attackers cant get three the zone goes neutral and the mobs get a 100% hp and damage buff. That way it limits the gathering professions from just farming the spawns.
Second, is similar to whats already been said. But increasing the speed in which the flag changes after two bases have been captured is a very good idea. But also add that if you have 30 defenders and 10 attackers the flag changes to the attackers side faster until the balance of vs's is closer to 1v1.
I dont quite understand what your saying.... You seem to be in favor of this but then your against it. Also you mention public people in wow having to give out RL info...isnt that already done now? I mean blogs and such always have a owner and that owner is traceable.
Also regarding your ability to add guild memebers but not wanting to post RL info on guild forums...whisper the person in game. Tell them in a private channel in vent, there are various ways to do this. Im also certain blizzard is going to make it as easy as possible to add the people you WANT to add.
I have a lot of friends that every time blizz tries to balance out the PVP aspect and they feel like they are getting shafted, cry out "cant wait for Warhammer."
These are the people that only want to log on long enough to get in the minimum number of arena's to get points that week. but play nothing but low level alts any other time.
I hope Warhammer does ok, just not right out the box. Ive heard mixed opinions of the game and the negative end is been the most prevailing as of late. I just dont want to have to try to juggle two games to be able to play with friends >.
