I'm not sure what to think about the raid right now. It feels like a combination of the worst bits of Mount Hyjal and the Crusader's Coliseum: fighting off waves of enemies in a single location, and sometimes there are bosses. With reused art assets. Which I really hope are just placeholder models right now, but... if that was the case, why release screenshots?

The Deathwing encounters sound awesome, I just really, really hope that the rest of the instance won't be a disappointment.

Thank God. My realm (Ghostlands US) had suffered a pretty severe infection of these things, it'll be nice to walk around Org again unhindered.

I'm just confused why this is showing up now. New expansion, player numbers on the upswing, cash pouring in... they don't really need them.

Arena is Team vs Team though. Regular, set teams of 2, 3, or 5 on other teams of 2, 3, or 5. You have to have a cooperative mindset, good class balance, and some strategy to do very well in there.

The ratings system could be set up any number of ways, but that doesn't change the nature of the thing.

I went with the Borean Tundra. The Horde has a huge fortress there, and Saurfang is in it. That was all I needed to know.

Overall, the changes that we're getting from TBC to Wrath are smaller than the changes we got going from vanilla WoW to TBC, and it looks like they've spent a lot of time trying to learn how to correct mistakes that they made this expansion.

Guilds are used to the 10 and 25 man sizes for dungeons now, so I expect that there'll be less drama in that area. Lag should be better because people are split up between two starting zones in Northrend, and one back in the EPL (which itself is going to be running in several instanced versions, as I recall). The gear reset isn't as substantial.

Is it going to be perfect, lag and bug free? Of course not. But it's going to be smoother than last time.
