Heroes: The Second Coming (season premiere)

The writers need to stop having so many balls in the air. I was watching the show with a friend who called it "ADD storytelling." Not all of the plotlines are super strong (Nathan's religious conversion, Mohinder, Claire going super-emo), and when we only get a few minutes of a an episode devoted to a character, it cheapens the whole experience.

Take Mohinder. His whole reason for taking the serum was revenge for his father's death, but this was a completely different side of him we've never seen before. We could have, but because they jam the script with so many things, characters don't get the time to develop naturally.

So many of the twists were easy to spot (Linderman, especially). The Hiro/Ando rift which is cliche, and so was Claire hiding in a closet from a man with telekinesis. These characters have been in similar situations before, they now know their powers, I'd like to see someone use theirs in a practical manner.

Age of Conan GM fired amidst in-game sex scandal

He had virtual sex with a customer, on the job. That's not entrapment, that's being stupid. The GM was an idiot and the griefer was a griefer. AoC's better for it, and hopefully the GM learned a few important lessons about the internet.

Feist to sing "1234" on Sesame Street

Apr 14th 2008 12:34AM (AOL TV)
They've done this for years, and there's nothing wrong with it. I still remember "Letter B" instead of "Let It Be", "Cooperation" instead of "Two Princes". I guess, since I like the song, I don't quite get the overwhelming stench of snark that this post starts with.
