BlizzCon 2009: Live blogging the Cataclysm new starter zones

I'm sure you do.

The Daily Grind: Do you follow us on Twitter or Facebook?

May 22nd 2009 10:07AM (Massively)
I follow Krystalle, Kyle and the dearly departed Zonk.

Twitter isn't so bad, people! Once I got my Tweetdeck set up and found all the appropriate contacts, it's become my favorite news/link gathering tool.

For a generation of people that mocks their parents for not jumping on the computer bandwagon, we sure shirk the newest trends with remarkable ease...

The Daily Grind: Once you play MMORPGs, can you ever go back to single-player RPGs?

May 21st 2009 9:44AM (Massively)
I've gone so far as to write for a certain fairly prominent MMO blog in the Joystiq network (wink wink) and I've had no problem going back to single player affairs. The only exception is JRPGs, which I seem to have lost the taste for with age.

The Daily Grind: To banhammer or not to banhammer

One and done, for sure.

The Daily Grind: Are betas really more fun?

Apr 26th 2009 9:05AM (Massively)
I think betas are more fun for the same reason that fresh servers are more fun. Things just feel different when you know you're among the first people in a community to do or experience something.

The Daily Grind: Which sci-fi MMOs are you looking forward to?

Apr 23rd 2009 8:20AM (Massively)
Jumpgate, just because I heart the guys at NetDevil so much.

Can Champions count as a sci-fi MMO too? There's... ya know, technology and whatnot.

Esteemed Guild Wars guild punished for cheating

That seems well within the rules of the game. Do you penalize a football team because they took a knee at the end of the game?

What Warhammer patch 1.05 means for you

Nov 7th 2008 11:40PM (Massively)
I think the IB changes are nonsense. Slowing the rate at which IBs gain grudge and increasing the quickness with which it dissipates is really nothing more than a damage reduction to abilities like Heavy Blow, Inspiring Attack, and Binding Grudge.

I honestly just don't see the point. They've in essence created a tank that excels at being attacked, and then give the enemy no reason whatsoever to attack him. Why on earth would you hit an IB when it just makes him stronger? Even clothies can ignore that pithy white damage.

At least pre-nerf, they were able to do enough damage over time to come in around the middle in DPS and contribution. I can't fathom how an Ironbreaker is supposed to get contribution in a keep siege now.

A review of the week's Warhammer hotfixes

I'm just grateful that they have a good bullshit filter. I would be sad if my Ironbreaker actually got nerfed like all the idiots on the forums want.

Star Wars MMO announced as The Old Republic

Do they not have textures in that period?
